Further Information
Why CHAOS was formed In 1985, two schools: Crossley and Porter, and Heath were merged. This created the Crossley Heath School. Because each of the two schools had well-established old scholars associations, the Old Crossleans and the Heath Old Boys, two associations existed for one school. In June 1998, with the formal backing of the Governors of the Crossley Heath School, the Crossley Heath Association of Old Scholars (CHAOS) was formed. This association co-exists with the other two existing old scholars' associations. The aim of the organisation is to '...enable
friendships to continue and experiences to be shared amongst alumni of
the Crossley Heath School and to assist in the promotion of the interests
and activities of the Crossley Heath School'
How CHAOS is run CHAOS is run by old scholars of Crossley
